I was born and raised in Tempe, Arizona and did my undergraduate studies in Tucson, Arizona at the University of Arizona. In undergrad I was a member of the UofA Triathlon Team for two years and assisted at the equine unit to help breed thoroughbreds in my free time. After undergrad I decided to follow in the family tradition and pursue veterinary medicine. I come from a long line of veterinarians and I am the 3rd generation to follow this path. I attended vet school at Kansas State where I graduated cum laude in 2015. I was elected to membership in the Sigma Chapter of the Society of Phi Zeta, which is the honor society of veterinary medicine in May 2015. I was also presented with The Society for Theriogenology- Proficiency in Theriogenology award as well as the Francis Lucille Koss Memorial Award for demonstrating proficiency in both large and small animal medicine and surgery in May 2015.

My hobbies include: fishing, hiking, biking, cooking, working with horses, and working with my hands.

Interests include: Internal medicine, surgery, and theriogenology.
